Data Analyst (Marketing)
Job Description
Overview:
Our newly established US commercial team is looking to hire its first Data Analyst (Marketing). The role enables our success by ideating and implementing data-driven, innovative and effective marketing campaigns, collecting data, processing it and presenting to our marketing colleagues and the wider organization.
We are seeking a talented digital marketing analytics professional to help set up, gather data, and analyze the effectiveness and return on investment of digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, evaluate and interpret marketing data from various systems (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DWH) in the form of ad hoc analysis as well regular dashboards

Examine the success of advertising and on-site performance measures and recommend action plans for optimizing performance

Propose effective website tags for the collection of data and develop necessary source code; recommend website changes to drive future business

Assist in the sales planning & forecasting process for the US by providing visualized data against relevant sales KPIs

Act as a single point of contact for sales performance metrics for the US

Present findings and conclusions regularly to the immediate team and the wider organization to enable continuous learning

From time to time, conduct/organize user research including user interviews, field studies, usability testing, and customer calls, analyze feedback from existing and new applications; present findings regularly to key stakeholders along with potential recommendations
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of work experience in web analytics and measurement applications (such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical abilities to analyze customer data, build customer segments and determine if strategies are effective in enhancing the customer experience.
- Basic technical skills and understanding of web markup and scripting languages (HTML, JavaScript)
- Practical experience in using data visualization software (e.g. Power BI, Data Studio & Looker) is a plus
- Proven experience in querying languages such as MySQL and BigQuery
- Practical experience in the hosting industry, experience developing or running websites and or the Cloud and SaaS industries a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of departments and organizational levels
- Formal education and/or professional training and relevant certifications in data analytics, computer science or related technological field preferred
Physical requirements and Working Conditions
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Spend extended hours in front of a computer screen
- Ability to travel via air and/or vehicle on an overnight basis, including international travel on an estimated quarterly basis
- Ability to lift objects during travel up to 20 lbs.
- The role is located in downtown Philadelphia, PA and requires at least 3 days on-site per week or on days as designated by management
