You will join our Program Management department based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in the position of: 

Data Analyst –  Sales & Operations

About the Role:

We have channel data….and lots of it! Channel data is the reported sales as well as inventories of Harman products by Harman’s customers – what we need is accurate and actionable insights from this data. That is where you come in. You are passionate about data and know how to structure it and improve associated data quality KPI’s. Primarily you are ensuring Harman leadership and other stakeholders consume accurate and qualitative channel data. You will be collaborating with regional sales teams and various functional stakeholders around the globe to make sure data from our customers is accurate, complete and on time. Second to that you will be working on recurring reports and development of new reports and applications of Channel data. to At all times will you be a champion of the selected Business Intelligence tooling. While eager and driven, you will be patient tutor for all in the organization to develop their ability to proficiently work with data.

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor data compliance ( on time, accurate and complete) metrics for our customers.

  • Monitor and action data processing accuracy in our data enrichment and transformation processes.

  • Data reconciliation and data anomaly analysis.

  • Interact with regional stakeholders on improving customer data quality.

  • Creating and automation of recurring Channel Data reporting.

  • Support analysis of Channel Data and other data sources.

  • Support broader application of Channel Data in the organization.

  • Be a go to persona and evangelist of our Qlik Business Intelligence tooling ( reporting & data visualization).

  • Support data management in small scale analytics projects.

  • Support business users with business case development for Analytics applications and projects.

  • Validate results of initiated analytics projects.

What You Need:

  • 5+ years experience in similar roles such as Business Analyst, BI Analyst or Data Analyst

  • Master/Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent

  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools

  • Experience in data quality or general data management

  • Experience in development of data visualization

  • Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders in different locations and levels

  • Knowledge of/or willingness to learn (basic) programming

  • Experience in a Project driven environment is a strong preference

  • Experience with the Qliksense ecosystem is a strong preference.

  • Able to work & contribute in a small dynamic team

  • Able to work in a a diverse, multi-cultural  and multi regional team

  • Positive, energetic, can-do attitude, self-starter, accountable and takes ownership

  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal), other European languages an advantage

  • Be willing to work (flex policy) in an office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
