About the RoleIn the NZ Sales Operations team, it’s our mission to amplify the success of our GTM (go-to-market) team. The working style of this team involves a high degree of collaboration between each other and our stakeholders.
You will be a proactive Analyst supporting the GTM team to achieve their sales metrics in the most efficient and successful way. This role will be a focal point for a range of reporting. Working closely with the Sales Operations Manager and the wider GTM Operations team, you will operationalise the delivery of the NZ strategy. The role will also support the drive to increase Marketing and Sales automation and data integrity. As part of the Go to Market team, you will be the data enabler for supporting execution of the commercial strategic initiatives we want to achieve in NZ

What you’ll do:

  • Source relevant, reliable data for sales team, sales managers and leaders via various mediums, both ad hoc and periodic
  • Generating audience reports for tailored marketing initiatives – at times this involves reconciling between different data sources
  • Create insights for stakeholders in useful formats (for example reports, dashboards) to support business objectives
  • Provide analysis, commentary and guidance on data provided to assist decision making based on stakeholders’ needs
  • Improve reporting and other operational processes, automating where appropriate
  • Build good working relationships with internal teams
  • Understand and adhere to data governance policy
  • Provide sales operations support to the GTM team if needed

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Strong SQL Skills – regularly employ SQL queries on a day-to-day basis
  • At least one programming language (preferably Python)
  • Proficiency in using Snowflake for data warehousing, processing, and querying, BI
  • Ability to tell stories using modern data analytics and visualisation tools
  • Competent at translating and presenting data findings into insights for business decision makers
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with various stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to  translate between business and  technical audiences
  • Experience in understanding requirements and working collaboratively to shape ambiguous requests into clearly understood and answerable forms

  • Timely delivery of relevant and accurate data / information / insights meeting the needs of the GTM team
  • Cohesive analysis, report automation and process improvements are seen as best practice
  • Continuous adherence to Data Use and governance processes and standards
  • Great relationships developed with stakeholders through working together on shaping requests and understanding what’s possible
  • Takes #ownership of problems and executes a pragmatic and collaborative approach to their resolution
