As a Data Analytics Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. 

You will join the Global Finance and Business Management organization, assisting with optimizing business performance by helping to drive key initiatives, performing data & management reporting development agenda for operations. You will learn core business processes, build new capabilities, develop metrics/management reporting, and provide decision support via Adhoc reporting and data analytics.

You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that help drive profitability and efficiency across the Commercial & Investment Banking organization and have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that help drive profitability and efficiency across the Commercial Banking organization. You will be responsible for assisting the business in ongoing development and maintenance of BI tools, data management, data analytics and reporting & analysis. Also support in building the strategic initiatives for the key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a high-volume and high-complexity data models leveraging rigorous project management discipline
  • Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above – ranging from delivering business initiatives to engineering enabling capabilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending IT enhancements to improve data quality
  • Develop strong partnerships with IT application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement while providing support around in-flight projects

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data.
  • Need hands on experience with below skillset:
  • Cloud based technologies: AWS Athena, AWS Redshift; AWS S3
  • Programming languages: SQL, NOSQL, Python, JSON and API Experience. Analytical tools, e.g., Alteryx, Tableau 
  • Having knowledge on Data Architecture & Data Engineering pipelines 
  • High level knowledge on QlikSense. Experience in managing small teams and multiple stakeholders. Experience in Service Now & JIRA project management tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills looking at reports / processes and build solutions.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure; Ability to prioritize requests and multi-task on time sensitive multiple requirements.
  • Maintaining a very high level of competency when reviewing data and reports; quickly identifying and rectifying data and presentation issues
  • Excellent communication (verbal / written) skills to liaison between Sr. Management, US business managers and Data reporting teams.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Graduate/Postgraduate preferably with Computers/Finance/Statistics as core areas
  • Minimum 4 years of Analytics experience, preferably in financial services or commercial banking
  • Manage projects / communicates in a clear, concise and efficient manner with multiple teams locally and globally. Has ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships. Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data.
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to consolidate and analyze data received from multiple businesses.
  • Ability to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / visualization)
