Job Description

As a Data Analytics and Reporting Specialist at HugoBank, you will create and manage a sophisticated framework for generating not only accurate and timely reports but also insightful analytics that drive decision-making. Your role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, custom reports, and dashboards while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Analytics: Develop and apply advanced analytical methods to extract valuable insights from data, aiding strategic decisions. 
  • Reporting Systems: Design, build, and maintain systems for generating regular and ad-hoc reports, both for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies. 
  • Data Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure the highest levels of data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analytics. 
  • Customization & Visualization: Customize reports and create interactive dashboards tailored to user needs, enhancing data understanding and accessibility. 
  • Automation: Automate reporting and analytical processes to increase efficiency and reduce the time to insight. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data teams and business units to understand their data and reporting needs. 
  • Data Governance: Adhere to data governance and compliance standards, ensuring that reporting and analytics practices are ethical and legal. 

Requirements

  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik. 
  • Strong skills in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation. 
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems. 
  • Understanding of statistical analysis techniques and their application in business analytics. 
  • Familiarity with basic machine learning techniques for predictive analytics and trend analysis. 
  • Ability to create intuitive and interactive visualizations and dashboards. 
  • Experience with automation tools like Python scripts, Cron jobs, or workflow automation platforms. 
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data and insights in an understandable manner. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address reporting challenges and improve processes. 
  • Familiarity with financial regulations affecting data and reporting to ensure compliance.
