At Machine Learning Reply Germany we work with our clients on leading-edge data project for which we are seeking Data Analytics consultants with a strong economics and IT background to serve our cloud based client projects in multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • As a Data Analytics Consultant, you will develop data warehouse solutions for our clients based on their challenges
  • You will be responsible for formulating business requirements and translating them into technology requirements as part of a data warehouse/cloud roadmap and initial data warehouse architectures
  • Analyze raw data from our customers’ source systems, transform it and create meaningful business applications
  • You work closely with our data scientists, data engineers and solution architects to ensure the smooth implementation of projects
  • You leverage your strong communication skills in meetings and workshops to convince our customers with business cases, qualitative assessments and demos and to present the results effectively

Requirements

  • We are looking forward to your Master’s degree with a strong quantitative and economic background, for example in business informatics, economics or computer science
  • You have a basic understanding of the integration of different source systems and connectors in a coordinated and efficient approach based on on-premise and cloud technologies, ideally with Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • You have good knowledge of SQL, database technologies and data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Data Vault or Snowflake) and can assess the advantages and disadvantages well
  • You are familiar with Python and have practical experience with big data tools (Apache Spark, Databricks, etc.)
  • You understand the concept of DevOps and have hands-on experience with Git Source Code Management (SCM)
  • You have experience with setting up workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
  • You have a strong understanding of industry best practices related to data lakes and data warehouses
  • Experience with or interest in shaping the technological data landscape from an architectural perspective as well as a good understanding of the digitization of BI and ML business models are welcome
  • You are fluent in English and speak German at least at B2 level
