Marsh McLennan Innovation Centre (MMCIC) seek a Dublin based, technically proficient Data & Analytics Product Owner.
You will be working with an Agile development team focused on new & better Data and Analytics products.
As our Product Owner, you will partner with other technology teams, assisting with prototype testing and data collection, helping us develop state of the art Business Intelligence and analytics tools.
We feel this could also suit a Software Developer or Engineer looking for a career in product management.

What you need to have:
- Experience of or background in software development, Angular or React preferred.
- Experience in or sound knowledge of Analytics, Data or Data Science
- The ability to talk tech with Engineers and the business alike.
- Skilled in translating technical requirements into market-leading products, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
- Adept at managing product lifecycles from concept to launch.
What makes you stand out:
- Strong BI or Data Analytic skills with track record of end-to-end implementation using MicroStrategy.
- Talent with tools such as Tableau and/or QlikSense
- The communication skills to challenge through collaboration plus ability to develop key stakeholder relationships with peers, and senior leadership across the business.
- Experience in Python, Java or equivalent coding languages
- Experience or practical knowledge of UI/UX
- Agile certification such as APM, AgilePM, PMI, SAFe, Scrum
We will rely on you to:
- Understand existing products end-to-end from technology and business outcome perspectives
- Document prototype requirements using sketches, diagrams and wireframes
- Participate in business analysis, affordability modelling and idea generation
- Be an active problem-solver
- Liaise closely with technical colleagues that are part of MMC’s Tech organisation
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with the business stakeholders
- Communicate complex concepts in such a way that stakeholders will understand
- Assist manager with product backlogs and release management
- Provide estimates for product features
- Contribute to increasing the team’s overall velocity, quality and value delivered
