The Role:
The Data Analytics Senior Consultant II is responsible for leveraging data and analytics to answer complex questions and influence business strategy through communication of findings to senior management. The position is also responsible for developing standards of practice around data retrieval, data manipulation, data reporting and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesizes large amount of complex data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
- Compiles, cleans, organizes, and analyzes Allstate Financial Services sales data to understand the sales funnel and what is driving business results.
- Develops data assets through the creation, publication and maintenance of dashboards and other types of reporting for stakeholders.
- Works with teams developing hypotheses and recommendations leading to optimization of the online sales shopping experience. Evaluates the outcomes of these recommendations.
- Monitors and evaluates projects / business initiatives against key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicates results and recommendations to management.
- Be a thought leader; recommends process improvements and influences strategy through data and analytics.
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of data and analytics experience; life insurance and annuity experience preferred but not required.
- Uses sound decision making capabilities including problem solving approaches, decision frameworks; ability to design and lead complex analysis.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience in different programming languages such as Python and R
- Strong presentation skills; dynamically (persuasively) presenting ideas to management.
- Ability to persuasively advocate a position and build momentum for change and action.
- Ability to inspire trust and influence management.
- Advanced ability to understand Business Insurance consumer trends, industry/ competitive dynamics, and economics.
- Data visualization experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
Additional Desired Functional Skills:
- Microsoft PowerBI development a plus
- General life insurance knowledge a plus
Education & Experience:
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $69,200.00 – 123,800.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
