Job Description
Job Family: Data Engineering & Architecture Consulting Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do: Guidehouse is seeking a Data Architect to support in modernizing and optimizing data systems, analytics, and reporting. The ideal candidate will architect and implement robust data solutions, drive automation, and ensure data quality and governance, with a strong focus on CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices. Responsibilities include: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures to support ORR’s mission and business needs.
Lead data integration, migration, and modernization projects, ensuring alignment with federal standards and best practices. Develop and enforce data governance policies, data models, dictionaries, and master data repositories. Architect and automate ETL pipelines, leveraging CI/CD practices for deployment and version control (e. g.
, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub). Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions (Power BI, Tableau, R, Python).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and document processes. Implement and manage data quality, validation, and integrity procedures. Support the adoption of DevOps practices, including automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of data solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on data engineering, analytics, and CI/CD methodologies. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and federal regulations. What You Will Need: US Citizenship is required Bachelor’s degree is required Minimum FIVE (5) years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
Experience in data modeling, integration, and governance in complex environments Experience in building and automating ETL pipelines Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for data solutions Version control systems (e. g.
, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub) Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, R, Python) Cloud platforms and modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses) Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements in the federal sector. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Agile, analytical, and collaborative mindset.
What Would Be Nice To Have: Master’s degree Experience supporting federal programs, especially in human services or refugee resettlement. Certifications in data science, cloud platforms, or DevOps (e. g.
, AWS, Azure, Scrum, SAFe). Familiarity with CRM and ITSM tools (Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheets, ServiceNow). Experience with machine learning, NLP, and advanced analytics.
Prior experience in technical consulting The annual salary range for this position is $85,000. 00-$141,000. 00.
