Description:

• Support development of Data Models, data architecture according to technical specifications and business requirements. Coordinates with the project teams and others to ensure that data standards and models are aligned with the overall enterprise architecture and applicable standards.
• Maximize the value of data/information by developing and disseminating data architecture strategies, methodologies and tools to enhance the value of data along the value chain.

Responsibilities:

Functional:

• Support defining the company’s data strategy in line with the business strategy
• Develop a transformation roadmap indicating current, transition, and future state data architecture
• Create and maintain enterprise reference data architecture as a vision and guideline
• Understand data management aspects (e.g. governance, quality, MDM, BI & analytics, privacy, security, etc.)
• Keep up to date with market trends in data management aspects and data related regulations
• Design/ improve standard processes regarding data acquisition, storage and consumption
• Drive the organization to follow the guidelines on different data capabilities
• Lead/ Support/ Supervise the development of data/ information architecture related projects
• Provides training and training material to foster a data-driven culture

Technical:

• Create the technical data architecture that enables the capabilities and principles defined in reference data architecture
• Implement data architecture frameworks and methodologies in a service-oriented environment
• Maintain the overview of the as-is data landscape and manage the roadmap and planning towards the target landscape
• Evaluate/ Identify vendor solutions, technology options and best practices, and leverage the best-fit option
• Lead/ Support/ Supervise the development of data/ information architecture related projects
• Manage/ maintain data solutions / systems

Architecture:

• Design an overarching enterprise reference data model with the capability of connecting various data sources, data structures, terminologies and with an aligned technical language which allows auditability of the data objects from source to consumption
• Drive the implementation of the overarching data model
• Apply data model industry standards
• Leverage on internal and external best practices of data modeling
