Overview of Role
66degrees is seeking a Senior contractor to engage on a 5+ month remote assignment with potential to extend. Interested candidates should have the following required skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
As a Data Architect you will be spearheading the development of the client’s platform. You will be responsible for deploying and managing the data architecture to facilitate easy usage and analysis of the data, optimizing data pipelines, implementing solutions to meet data needs, and ensuring systems uphold data integrity and privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with data engineering, cloud architecture, or working with data infrastructure.
- Expertise in Azure cloud platform, especially Azure Data Factory is required
- Google Cloud Platform experience is required (Multi-Cloud implementation experience would be beneficial).
- Experience with building, monitoring and logging systems as part of data platforms is required.
- Documenting a solution inclusive of architectures, pricing, and other technology design considerations.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and SQL.
- Experience with data modeling and schema design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
