In this crucial role within the Financial Crime Analytics team, you’ll provide technical expertise and direction to experienced analysts responsible for the development and delivery of reporting, analytics, business intelligence and related data projects supporting “Know Your Customer/Client” (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
You’ll design and build data models to fulfil the strategic data needs of the organisation, which facilitates efficient data management and the security to support Financial Crime decision-making.

The difference you’ll make:

Designing end-to-end architectures, design patterns, and ensuring scalability, data accuracy, security and performance across multiple platforms and technology domains

Managing and monitoring ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to ensure data is accurately and efficiently transferred between systems

Identifying areas of improvement within the existing data infrastructure, promoting the use of data mining and other technologies that align with the organisations needs and future scalability requirements

Coordinating and collaborating with technical development teams, ensuring best practices and standards

Conducting a continuous audit of data management system perform, ensuring compliance with data governance and compliance frameworks
What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

Proven experience of implementing large-scale solutions in a Financial Crime intelligence team

Experience in data migration planning, strategy and ETL tooling

Demonstrable expertise in database technologies such as SQL

Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
It would also be nice for you to have:

Experience designing data solutions specifically for Financial Services
-
Experience integrating data across cloud technologies, specifically AWS platform
-
Exposure to AI and machine learning analytics
What else you need to know:
This 12-month fixed-term contract is based in Milton Keynes.
We want our people to thrive at work and home, and be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your contract duration.

We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.

30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
