As a data architect on our team, you’ll use your technical knowledge to analyze data architecture solutions for the organization’s baseline policies and procedures. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by translating data into an effective model and help build the client’s data strategy. 

In this role, you’ll apply basic principles and tools like SQL Developer Data Modeler, Erwin Data Modeler, and data flow infrastructures. You’ll grow your technical knowledge as you assist in the design, definition, development, and testing of cloud solution components, serving as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:   

  • 2+ years of experience in database administration, system administration, or systems engineering
  • Experience with ER/Studio, Erwin Data Modeler, or SQL Developer Data Modeler
  • Knowledge of data security and implementation measures for data systems
  • Ability to design and model database, data warehouse, and data flow infrastructures   
  • Ability to research and develop strategies for data acquisition, data migration, and data recovery    
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including in collaborative and individual settings
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Secret clearance   
  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
