Come join one of the most talented and fastest growing Data Engineering & Platform teams in Q2-Helix where there is no end to the learning opportunities available to you. This is a “hands-on” position requiring very effective technical skills, leadership skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Work on software development (data) projects within different disciplines which influences multiple areas of the business
  • Work closely with the product manager, business analyst, and architect to develop the technical design and solutions
  • Analyze, code, test, implement, and update existing or new data engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with other team members and provide the tangible end-product
  • Work collectively with the product owner, program leadership, and others and support them in resolving hitching issues
  • Plan your development tasks accordingly to improve and grow your performance bar considerably
  • coordinate activities of team personnel
  • Work with teams to implement a modern data platform engineering deliverables aligned to our customer needs
  • Develop/design data models, data flows, and integration patterns for the data systems, like data warehouse, databases, data lake, and usage data layers.
  • Collaborate with fellow data engineers and other architects in building and developing conceptual, logical, and physical models

  • Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in development of data warehousing, or Lake House Architecture or relevant experience (Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Design scalable solution strategies to support batch, near real time and streaming data integration with new and existing tools/technologies architecture
  • Understand the role of data, domain, and ontology modelling in the building of scalable end-user facing applications.
  • Technical proficiency with standards-based data engineering tools
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud and its data platforms offerings
  • Have a passion for learning new technologies in space.
  • Experience working with data warehouses solutions such as DW, or Snowflake and understanding of data architecture design
  • Experience with ETL / ELT & relevant tools like Azure Data Factory, DBT,
  • Experience with Airflow scheduler
  • Experience in Python, and equivalent modeling language

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
