Job Requisition ID #24WD77834Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for an experienced and motivated Data Engineer to join our Analytics team to develop scalable data pipelines using and improving existing platforms. You will improve performance enhancements, build pipelines and collaborate with other Data Engineering teams across Autodesk. You will work with the latest technologies in big data space.You will report to a Manager, Software DevelopmentResponsibilitiesDevelop, automate, and support robust and reliable data pipelinesWork with the team to make the Data Platform a thoughtful and scalable platformGather customer requirements, sequence work and document technical solutionsWork with data engineers, data scientists, product managers and internal stakeholdersContribute to our team culture that values quality, robustness, and scalability while encouraging projects and new ideasMinimum Qualifications1-2 years of data processing experience in large cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)Hands-on software development experience in PythonExpert understanding of SQL, dimensional modeling, and analytical data warehouses, such as SnowflakeUnderstanding of Data Engineering best practices for medium to large-scale production workloadsExpertise with data pipeline orchestration tools, such as AirflowFamiliar with processing semi-structured file formats such as json or parquetTeam player with good communication skillsProblem solver with excellent written and interpersonal skillsStay informed about relevant technology trends and developmentsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fieldsPreferred Qualifications Experience with Jinja, Shell scripting, DBTDeveloping in Cloud platform using serverless technologies such as glue, lambda, EMRExperience with remote development using AWS SDK is a plusExperience with ELT pipelines – DBTREST API design and implementationFamiliarity with containers and infrastructure-as-code principlesExperience with automation frameworks – Git, Jenkins, and TerraformLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $87,400 and $150,700. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
