Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient Big Data solutions.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Implement data models and schemas for storage and retrieval.
  • Optimize and tune performance of Big Data systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Create design documents and micro-analysis documents.
  • Perform data modeling and provide guidance to Data Engineers.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Data and analytics. 

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Big/Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Big Data technologies including Nifi, Kafka, Spark, SQL, Python, Architect, NoSQL, and Data Lake.
  • Experience building and optimizing reliable, idempotent data pipelines.
  • Strong language programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Strong Oracle background including Data Architecture, ODI,Datastage
  • Proficiency in Data Warehouse (DWH) and Operational Data Store (ODS)
  • Strong knowledge of DWH modeling.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, particularly with Informatica, Data Stage, etc.
  • Proficiency in DWH database technologies such as Exadata, Teradata

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to learn more about new languages and frameworks
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills
  • Good team player, result-oriented attitude, and analytical mind
  • Advanced level of English
  • No military obligation for male candidates for at least 2 years
