The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 

The Tools Team is a global team providing the next generation of product development tools and analytics for our internal customers. We believe that a great tooling experience helps our development community to create great products. You may know services like GitHub, Slack or Tobi, for which this team is responsible. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS 

• Identify and address technical risks and challenges, proactively proposing solutions and mitigations 
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the cloud product 
• Excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven 
• A positive, open-minded, and collaborative personality with strong self-management skills 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 

• Knowledge in Big Data, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning 
• Knowledge of DevOps/ CI/CD / MLOps methodologies and tools 
• Python, SQL development professional level 
• Practical Knowledge of Cloud Data & AI technologies (eg Microsoft Azure Data & AI services, Databricks / Spark, AWS, GCP) 
• Practical knowledge in platform management, DevOps and infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools (eg GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform) 
• Data modelling skills to create insight out of data (eg KPI modelling) 
• Experience with leading cloud providers (AWS, GCP) 

 
WORK EXPERIENCE 

• SAP experience in development/ analytical areas 
• Proven track record of successfully delivered projects 
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, software engineering
