About the Role
FareHarbor, a Booking holding company, is looking for a full time Software Engineer to join our data engineering team in Amsterdam. We’re a quickly growing company with a robust product that tens of thousands of people rely on to run their businesses every day. As we grow, insights into our data are increasingly important in order to optimize our internal processes, inform our long-term strategy, and help our clients increase their sales.
What you’ll do here:
- Implement data infrastructure to serve the needs of our Reporting and Analytics teams
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our data infrastructure within AWS, including data pipelines, a data warehouse, Python automations, a Tableau cluster, and other reporting infrastructure for internal and external clients
- Design, build and implement ETL processes using Airflow and DBT
- Work with technologies like Python, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Redshift, Terraform, and Kubernetes
Requirements:
- Have 5+ years experience working with a production codebase and mission-critical systems.
- Be proficient with Python or other similar high-level programming languages.
- Have experience with Apache Airflow and DBT
- Have experience with a cloud infrastructure provider like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Have interest in data modeling, data access, and scalable data pipelines
