About the Role:
Qventus is seeking a Data Engineer II to assist with the delivery of our data-intensive products at scale. The Engineering Services team ensures that our internal and external stakeholders have the tools they need to succeed by scaling and delivering our solutions. Their primary focus is on delivering high-quality products to new and existing clients, as well as resolving client requests and issues quickly, allowing Qventus to provide products and results that improve the lives of patients and doctors across the country.
As a Data Engineer II, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products to our clients. You’ll be responsible for managing customer-specific transformations and maintaining critical data pipelines. You’ll also develop custom solutions and manage major data migrations. In addition, you’ll support the incremental maintenance and feature roll-out of new products.
Working closely with clients and R&D counterparts, you’ll identify critical improvements to the platform and data products. You’ll refine requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality data pipelines. You’ll need to have a strong curiosity about data and be motivated to make an impact on the team and the company and to improve the quality of healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical implementations for new clients & expansions incl. Client data validation, refining and designing custom requests for features and metrics working closely with product, client, and R&D partners

Manage and execute data and solution migrations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize disruption and maintain data integrity.

Support the deployment and integration of new features, including those requiring significant data specification changes, ensuring a seamless transition for clients.

Implement and oversee client-specific customizations and configurations, ensuring they align with approved standards and client needs.

Triage and address ongoing updates to client configurations, data transformations, and solution tuning to ensure continuous service excellence.
What We’re Looking For:

Demonstrated experience in building, debugging, and enhancing production transformation pipelines; Highly proficient in SQL and at least 1 modern data warehouse (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, BigQuery)

Experience translating client requirements into comprehensive technical designs & Execution

Proficiency in developing & coordinating execution in a fast-paced dynamic environment across multiple technologies & platforms (AWS experience preferred)

3+ years of professional experience working with modern programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and Python with a dedication to high code quality.
It’s a Plus if You Have…

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training/experience

Competence in participating in technical architecture discussions to help drive high-quality technical development within your team

Aptitude for interpreting complex datasets, including the ability to discern underlying patterns, identify anomalies, and extract meaningful insights, demonstrating data intuition and analytical skills.

Practical hands-on experience with:

building large-scale, high-complexity metrics and monitoring

DBT, Terraform, Looker, Ansible experience

Candidates are required to work from our NCR/Noida offices for at least three (3) days a week as well as keep US based timings that can extend to 12:30 am IST.
