Office based – Casablanca
As a Data Engineer at Oracle MADC , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Oracle offerings. You will be part of an innovative team who works with cutting-edge technologies to bring AI capabilities into Oracle Database related products. In this role you will:
- Be responsible of collecting, verifying and structuring high-quality datasets to be used to for training and refining models that would generate SQL from Natural Language.
- Implement rigorous data validation and integrity checks, identifying and addressing any data quality issues that could impact model performance.
- Design and develop data extraction via APIs (knowledge of REST)
- Define data annotation and data labeling process to ensure high quality training data.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all data engineering processes, API integrations, data quality metrics, schemas, ETL processes, etc. to help with reproducibility.
- Implement appropriate data storage solutions to store the processed data to be used in a scalable and optimized way for access and analysis.
- Use Oracle SQL to construct queries to be used on Oracle databases.
- Adjust data collection processes for optimal performance that involve indexing, query optimizations etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or similar.
- Experience with Python and Java to generate and process data.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle SQL with experience in writing complex queries, procedures and optimizing database performance.
- Expertise in data collection, ingestion, and validation techniques with a focus on preparing datasets for machine learning models.
- Experience in creating ETL pipelines to automate the ingestion and transformation of the data if required.
- Familiarity with ML concepts and data requirements for training ML models is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ML and NLP techniques is a great plus.
