Responsibilities

– Design, implement, and maintain on-premises data pipelines (ETL) to ensure effective integration and storage of data.

– Manage and optimize local databases and storage systems such as data lakes and data warehouses.

– Work with large data volumes and distributed solutions like Hadoop or Spark in on-premises environments.

– Ensure data security and integrity by implementing governance policies and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).

– Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and IT teams to optimize data access and usage across the organization.

– Monitor system performance, resolve data issues, and conduct preventive maintenance.

– Manage technical documentation of data processes, systems, and infrastructure.

Essential skills

– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role;- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL;- Experience with NoSQL databases;- Experience with distributed processing systems such as Hadoop, Apache Spark or similar technologies;- Good knowledge of Portuguese and English.
