About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our team! This role involves working with large volumes of data, building and maintaining data pipelines, and supporting the transition to automated processes that improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Job Definition

  •  Perform data cleaning, processing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) from various sources into data storage systems.
  • Ensure data quality through proper planning and implementation.
  • Maintain and document data pipelines, processes, and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Extract data from online sources to support analytical needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address data requirements.
  • Support automation of data-related processes and systems.
  • Provide training and guidance on the use of automated workflows.

Job Qualification

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with SQL, MongoDB, and a solid understanding of Relational and Non-Relational databases.
  • Proficient in Python and comfortable with other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Power BI / Power Automate.
  • Basic understanding of HTML & CSS.
  • Experience in web scraping using tools like BeautifulSoup, Selenium, or Scrapy.
  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure is an added advantage.
  • Interest or experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong teamwork, coordination, and learning abilities.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Logical thinker with attention to detail.
