Job Description: 
As a Data Engineering Intern, you will work closely with the data engineering team to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining data infrastructure. This internship offers the opportunity to assist in building data pipelines, managing databases, and supporting data integration efforts. You will learn how to work with various data tools and technologies while helping maintain data integrity across systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development of data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data. 

  • Support the maintenance of relational and non-relational databases, ensuring accessibility and performance. 

  • Learn how to work with data warehousing solutions such as Redshift or Snowflake. 

  • Write and modify scripts in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. 

  • Help ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout data processes. 

  • Collaborate with data engineers and other team members to understand data infrastructure needs and best practices. 

Skills You Will Need to Be Successful: 

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational/non-relational databases. 

  • Interest in learning about ETL processes and scalable data pipelines. 

  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation. 

  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to maintain data accuracy and consistency. 

  • Willingness to collaborate and learn from experienced data engineers. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Interest in data engineering, database management, and data architecture. 

  • Basic understanding of data concepts and tools.
