What you’ll achieve

As a Data Engineering Intern, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data workflows and transformations that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. You will collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, system architects, and other stakeholders to build efficient, scalable, and innovative data solutions that drive data-driven decision-making within the Dell organization.

You will:

  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate AI algorithms and models into data workflows, ensuring efficient data ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering for AI-driven analytics.
  • Design, implement, and maintain next-generation AI-powered data pipelines that collect, process, and store data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, streaming data) for analysis and modeling across multiple cloud platforms like Dell Digital and Microsoft Azure
  • Optimize data pipelines and transformations for scalability, performance, and reliability, considering large-scale data processing and real-time requirements.
  • Automate data processes using AI to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency and scale in data inspection, transformation, normalization, and labeling tasks.

Essential Requirements

  • Studies in computer science, data engineering, or a related field
  • Programming skills in languages in Python, including code-based (Python) data modelling, data streaming, data workflows, AI-powered DataOps
  • Experience in coding ( University level/personal projects )
