Senior Data Governance Architect

Location: Pune/Hyderabad.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust data solutions that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture Design:
    • Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
    • Design and implement data models (dimensional and data vault) to support business intelligence and analytics.
    • Define data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Data Governance:
    • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.
    • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify data requirements and prioritize data initiatives.
    • Implement data quality processes to monitor and improve data accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Engineering:
    • Design and implement data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
    • Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
    • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data ingestion and processing.
  • Cloud Technologies:
    • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions.
    • Implement cloud-native data technologies and services to modernize the data infrastructure.
  • Data Visualization and Analytics:
    • Collaborate with data analysts and business users to visualize data insights and drive decision-making.
    • Implement data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create interactive dashboards and reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 11-16 years of experience as a data governance architect or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing tools (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
