Title and Summary
Data Governance Manager, People Analytics
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Analytics Data Governance Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the data governance framework and ensuring the integrity, security, and quality of our people analytics data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, analytics, and governance, with a focus on driving data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework for people analytics, including policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by establishing and enforcing data quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business units, to define data requirements and ensure data consistency across systems.
• Lead data governance initiatives, including data cataloging, access model and standards.
• Provide guidance and support to data stewards and data owners in the implementation of data governance practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance and analytics, and apply this knowledge to improve our data governance framework.
• Drive data literacy and promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Psychology, Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related role, preferably within the HR or people analytics domain.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as SQL, and data governance platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with ambiguity and independence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with HR systems and data, such as Workday, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements, such as GDPR and CCPA.
