Data Management Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
Noblis is seeking a Data Management Engineer to support the Fusion Analysis and Development Effort (FADE) program. The FADE program develops and operates a multi-source intelligence platform that fuses geospatial information with a variety of textual data sources, providing real time data feeds, complex event notifications, and knowledge management to thousands of IC and DoD personnel every day. Our staff works closely with end users, taking direct feedback and incorporating that feedback into our system to improve user workflows, data layers, and field new capabilities. We utilize a modern DevSecOps development process and deploy to a scalable cloud environment.
Job Duties:
- Work collaboratively with senior staff members to learn the system and data management responsibilities
- Assist the FADE PMO in managing incoming and outgoing data sources and feeds
- Conduct/ attend various Data Management meetings; i.e. Data Council
- Work with the end user customers for data requests
- Track security data compliance requirements, and cloud infrastructure/ storage environments
- Formulate and communicate problem solving approaches effectively to our Government clients.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology field with 8+ years of Data Management/related experience
- An understanding of data management and administrative policies
- Ability to digest and understand various data types, sources, and architecture
- Attention to detailed statistical information
- Working knowledge of data security laws and protocols
- Ability to complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel (CONUS – once per quarter)
- Knowledge of:
- Network security
- Cloud infrastructure environments
- Risk and Vulnerability assessments
Desired Qualifications
- Security Training/Certs – minimum of Security +
- Agile certification or willingness to obtain

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
Posted Salary Range
USD $125,500.00 – USD $219,600.00 /Yr.
