Data Manager (Wells – Operations)
Job Description

Requirements
We are looking to hire an experienced data manger with deep knowledge of the EDM database and EDT (engineering desktop) applications (Compass, StressCheck, Wellcat, OpenWells, WellPlan).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Evaluate data quality of operational data daily and resolve quality issues.
- Identify data quality issues in planning data and help resolve in conjunction with planning team.
- Work with others to develop automated data quality tooling to streamline process of identifying and addressing issues.
- Work with well engineers to address issues they experience with EDT applications.
- Train well engineers and other well engineering data users on OpenWells use.
- Identify recurrent issues and develop strategies to remediate.
- Further develop data quality dashboard.
- Contribute to data governance documentation and data management strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience with the EDM database and EDT applications, particularly OpenWells and Compass.
- Experience of well planning and operations.
- Familiar with agile ways of working
- Proficient in SQL
- Power BI report building advantageous.
