Job Description

The primary function of position:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise data warehouse, analytics platforms, and data product applications. The candidate will collaborate with the cross-functional teams, and internal customers to identify and resolve issues and implement enhancements to the EDW system. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a combination of technical skills, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, Commitment, and a customer-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and triage the EDW systems and user-related incidents for resolution. ETL monitoring and data refresh support to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the EDW systems and related applications.
  • Prioritize and resolve support tickets within established SLAs to ensure minimal impact on business operations.
  • Support month-end and quarter-close activities related to Finance and SIOP.
  • Assist in designing and developing data pipelines using Apache Airflow, Snowflake, SAP ERP, SQL Database, SQL, SAP SLT, and other cutting-edge technologies.
  • Utilize Python and Shell scripting to automate tasks and integrate systems.
  • Support the administration of Apache Airflow and Linux environments, install, and configure all components of Airflow, tailoring the setup to your specific environment.
  • Develop the necessary airflow DAGs and handle the deployment of all Airflow components.
  • Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures, best practices, and standard operating procedures for data-related technologies.
  • Monitoring and analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to improve system efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and implement enhancements to the EDW system.
  • Assist with a variety of activities related to the daily operations of the data team.
  • Be available for emergency response, such as system outages or critical incidents and work towards a quick resolution.
  • Provide On-call support for rotations and escalations.
  • Experience working with source code management tools like GitHub.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Database development on Snowflake, SQL server, or Oracle platforms.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Python and Apache Airflow.
  • 2+ Years of experience in data warehousing and ELT development on the Snowflake data platform
  • 2+ years’ Experience creating and visualizing data using Tableau.
  • Experience and functional understanding of data pipelines from SAP, Salesforce, and Cloud applications.
  • Ability to work in a customer-facing role, with strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business requirements and implement changes in the environment accordingly.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
