What will you be doing?

· Apply and design best-in-class methodologies and statistical algorithms to answer business questions.

· Build and maintain modeling engines for Circana analytics platforms using various tools, such as Python, R, SQL, Spark, etc.

· Utilize advanced computations/statistics and machine learning/AI methodologies.

· Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Technology, Product, etc.) to build analytical solutions for some of the largest retailers and manufacturers in the world, utilizing granular data at scale.

Document and present methodologies to internal and external stakeholders

 

Job Responsibilities

· Develop processes to extract data across a multitude of platforms

· Use Hive, R, SQL, Python to write, validate and maintain code to support research and data analyses

· Define and lead customized research projects to develop and enhance Circana methodologies and algorithms

· Maintain codebase for newly developed systems.

· Document processes and procedures

· Independently investigate and resolve production and client data issues

· Provide accurate and timely data analysis and methodology support focused on internal and external client requests

· Present research findings to internal clients.

 

Requirements

· Post graduate degree in Economics, MBA, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Quantitative Analysis, or related field

· 3-5 years of work experience in Advanced Analytics.

· Strong statistical and quantitative analysis skills. Knowledge of Statistical Analysis techniques which are used in Marketing analytics.

 

· Functional Responsibilities

o Evaluate different statistical approaches for developing the analytical solution. Candidate should be well versed in executing statistical models on Regression, Marketing Mix Modeling, Factor analysis, Cluster analysis, Text based mining, and similar modeling approaches.

o Evaluate model effectiveness and ability to translate the statistical requirements into excel based examples.

· Candidate should be proficient in writing good code in Python and PySpark.

· Proficient with manipulating big data using Python, SQL. A high comfort level with data manipulation and extraction of meaningful insights from large data and prior experience of working with large data is a plus.

· Candidate should have good working knowledge on AI/ML and should have applied these techniques in some of their recent projects

· Excellent data interpretation skills. Experience in using charting/reporting

· Being creative in identifying new techniques and processes to streamline and increase efficiency and effectiveness of current work-streams is a plus.

· High level of attention to detail and problem solving

· Should have basic knowledge of market research & any specific knowledge on Media marketing and FMCG/CPG/Pharma industry will be an added advantage.

· Knowledge on Retailer loyalty card data/Store transaction level data will be a plus.
