Job Description
The opportunity
The Data Scientist role will produce data-driven insights and analyses that can drive strategy and help the business units in achieving the sales or revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Produce data-driven insights and analyses that can drive strategy and help business units achieve sales or revenue goals
- Utilize statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools to develop predictive models and actionable recommendations to boost sales productivity and deepen product penetration (CPM), improve persistency, and elevate customer experience
- Execute, track and evaluate marketing campaigns to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency
- Design and deploy data insights and visualizations to business stakeholders via dashboards, presentations, or other tools
- Collaborate with teams across the business to mine their analytics needs, address business challenges, identify business opportunities or help define the direction for new initiatives
- Document and present actionable insights to business heads and stakeholders across the franchise in a clear, succinct manner
- Serve as subject matter expert for data concerns across the franchise, including data availability, quality and security protocols
- Support key initiatives, including, but not limited to: a)Generate ad-hoc extracts to support marketing activities; b) Manage testing, validation and implementation of curation layers for marketing campaigns, customer insights, analytics, underwriting, etc. and c)Improve data quality and reach; and d)Contact policy management

What we are looking for
- Graduate of Bachelor Degree preferably BS in Mathematics or Statistics, Economics or Business Management, Information Management
- At least two (2) years working experience as a data analyst – reporting, managing, modelling, and drawing insights from data
- Experience using statistical software for analyzing large datasets (Data Robot, SAS, etc.) and Programming or coding knowledge (SQL, Python, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at presenting findings to audiences with various levels of technical proficiency
- Very good oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels of the organization
