What is this job about?

As a Data Scientist at EthonAI you will engage directly with our customers, using data and analysis to understand their pain points, and leverage your insights to shape the product development. You will work cross-functionally with partners across Product, Engineering and Sales, using a data-driven approach to ensure we are empowering our customers to get the most out of our EthonAI products.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

Your Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets.

  • Engage directly with customers, including visiting their factories, to understand and empathize with their pain points.

  • Work cross-functionally with the product, engineering and sales teams to provide the customers’ point of view.

  • Figure out data loading into the EthonAI platform in collaboration with engineers and customers.

  • Support the engineering team with a data-driven approach to influence the product roadmap and prioritize development features.

Your Experience & Skills

  • You hold an academic degree from Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other relevant field. A Master’s degree for recent graduates, but a Bachelor’s backed with real-world experience can also work.

  • You have worked as a data scientist for at least 3 years.

  • Experience with Python and SQL.

  • Demonstrated ability to use data to understand customer pain-points.

  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.

  • Experience with IoT applications that run on premise and in the cloud is a plus.
