Job Description

Job Overview:

In this role, you will work closely with other data scientists, data engineers, business stakeholders, and other members of the technology team to build AI/ML solutions on the cloud

You will be responsible for coming up with new ideas, rapid prototyping, validating the prototype and converting it into scalable production ready deployments 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and implement AI/ML solutions that meet their needs.
  • Working across Machine Learning lifecycle – data ingestion, feature engineering, modelling, predicting, explaining, deploying and diagnosing ML models.
  • Interacting with Large Language Models like GPT-4 and Google Gemini and building Generative AI applications. Applications like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) etc
  • Building applications that require prompt engineering and tuning
  • Experience with continuous learning and building MLops pipelines
  • Participate in discovery sessions with clients and build state-of-the-art data architectures.
  • Automate data collection, processing, and reporting processes to minimize manual work and improve efficiency.
  • Use the knowledge gained from client projects to develop and improve our internal products.
  • Drive innovation in the organization’s data infrastructure and processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and data management.

Qualifications

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in machine learning, data science, data management and data engineering.
  • Proficient in Python and developing dockerised application.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS),  or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity in working with large data sets, cloud-based model development and deployment
  • Fluency with one or more Deep Learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorchCNTK etc
  • Proficient in data pre-processing and dataset creation using tools like pandas, numpy scikit-learn, scipy, etc
  • Built various ML applications across the domains of regression, classification, clustering etc
  • Performed data pre-processing and built applications using tabular, text, image and/or video data
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to drive initiatives, work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively expressing ideas to clients.

Nice To Have

  • Experience building large-scale, high throughput, 24×7 data systems.
  • Built production level Deep learning solutions on the cloud
  • Experience in Generative AI prompt engineering and tuning. Built Generative AI applications
  • Any data engineering, visualisation, or data science certifications on any of the clouds.
