Data Scientist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Data Scientist to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Employ data analysis and data science techniques to extract policy insights from complex datasets.
• Analyze business processes , engage with business users and process owners to discover, propose and prototype solutions that can create value for the organisation.
• Participate in prototyping AI and ML solutions and coordinate the integration of proof of concepts into existing or future business processes.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of efficient data collection and orchestration services.
• Create data visualization and dashboards presenting the results of the analysis.
• Engage with colleagues from various teams, analyze business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
• Support the drafting of briefings for management.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Master Degree in IT or related field plus minimum 9 years of professional experience in IT.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Science and AI.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and proficiency with relevant libraries, including but not limited to NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the following areas: Oracle RDMBS, Database development, Data Modelling and SQL, ETL tools (e.g. BODI, BODS Apache Airflow, dbt).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with data visualisation and/or BI tools (e.g. Power BI).
• Track record of implemented solutions that solved business problems and produced tangible results.
• Minimum 2 year with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with Knowledge Graphs and SPARQL is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with version control system (Git Hub).
• Fluent in English at least at a level B2, French will be considered an advantage.
