As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders across line of business and functions to delivery software solutions.
- Develop solutions using Large Language Models(LLM’s) and deliver to production along with product and tech partners.
- Experiment, develop and productionize high quality machine learning models, services and platforms to make huge technology and business impact.
- Design and implement highly scalable and reliable data processing pipelines and perform analysis and insights to drive and optimize business result.
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- B. Tech/M Tech/BS/ MS in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLM)/GenAI technology like OpenAI API, (GPT models), HuggingFace models etc. having solid understanding of Transformer architecture.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing and NLP tools and libraries like Spacy
- Experience in building, evaluating and deploying Machine learning Models into Production. Strong hands-on experience of the Machine Learning lifecycle – feature engineering, training, validation, scaling, deployment, scoring, monitoring, and feedback loop.
- Good data science skills as well in so far as analysis of data and documents and thinking through how that data can be processed efficiently
- Flexibility, able to execute against tight deadlines, work with minimum supervision, exercise independent judgment, and prioritize work
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Excellent dealing with ambiguity
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
