Salesforce is seeking a Data Scientist for our Global Success Business Intelligence (GSBI) Team to create the next generation of analytics solutions for multiple business domains such as Success, Support, Operations & Education. You will work on machine learning and statistical algorithms across multiple platforms to harness insights from data, and thus enable leadership to make data driven decisions.
 

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

• Hyderabad, TG, IND

• Bangalore, KA, IND

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of end-to-end ML process, including requirement gathering, model development, testing and smooth deployment across various environments.

• Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders informed by robust statistical analysis. 

• Driving effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, fostering a cohesive working environment.

• Leverage emerging technologies and identify efficient and meaningful ways to drive innovation for Salesforce.

• Ability to work in a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers across various time-zones

Qualifications required:  

• 6+ years of data scientist or similar role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling and communication experience 

• Proven ability to solve business problems through structured thought process  

• Knowledge of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) and statistical/mathematical software (e.g. Jupyter, PyCharm, R, SAS, etc.) experience is a must

• Experience with basic & advanced machine learning techniques such as: linear & logistic regression, SVM, time series (ARIMA etc.) and Tree based models is a must. Proficiency in Natural Language Processing techniques will be given preference

• 2+ years of experience of working on at least one out of various available clouds such as AWS, Azure, GCP, DataIKU etc.  

• Familiarity with Git, Airflow, Docker-Containers, AWS Sagemaker, MLOps will be a plus

• Experience in creating data visualizations on at least one UI platform such as Tableau, PowerBI, Excel etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience on LLMs will be a plus.
