Summary 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and support the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment, and usage.
  • Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge.
  • Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Work independently with some guidance. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3years’ experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • 3+ years of experience with multiple data visualization tools
  • 1+ years of experience with Excel VBA, PowerQuery, and SQL
  • Experience designing rich graphic visualizations for modular design of dashboards and developing user interfaces or dashboards, including metrics, filters, charts, graphs, and tables
  • Knowledge of various reporting objects, including facts, attributes, hierarchies, filters, calculated fields, sets, groups, or parameters
  • Knowledge of advanced data wrangling, from data discovery to cleaning, structuring, and validating
  • Ability to gather, analyze data, and problem-solve
  • Incumbent must possess active DoD TS/SCI Personal Security Clearance. 

Preferred Skills

  • ​Experience integrating with data from Data Warehouse
  • Experience integrating Big Data platforms as a data source for creating data visualizations
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices in performance tuning and user-centric design

Security Responsibilities 

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.  Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.  All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.  

  •  Incumbent must possess active DoD TS/SCI Personal Security Clearance. 
  • Preferred: TS/SCI with CI polygraph

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. 

Work Environment 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 

Physical Demands 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  

  • May be required to travel CONUS/OCONUS <20%
  • Must have ability to work overtime as needed
