We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Cumberland’s blockchain product development team. This role will be responsible for designing and supporting highly available systems in a technologically diverse stack used to support on-chain application infrastructure globally. Leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python, Prometheus and Grafana, you will build repeatable and supportable infrastructure that meets the demanding needs of our business.

Responsibilities:Participate in designing and supporting highly available systemsContinue to push efforts for building out infra on KubernetesContinue to enhance monitoring infra using Prometheus, Grafana, and other industry standard monitoring solutionsEnhance CI/CD processes leveraging declarative configuration toolsHelp create easily repeatable patterns for local development to migrate to productionSupport and enhance highly available database architectureBuild and enhance tooling used by the DevOps teamResearch and implement new technologiesConsistently challenge the norm and advocate for changeRequired Skills Experience & Abilities:8+ years experience supporting mission critical, high-performance applicationsExperience with AWS, EKS management, and TerraformSome exposure to Auth0Deploying and supporting applications in KubernetesMonitoring applications using Prometheus and GrafanaDeveloped CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deploymentsSolid Python experienceDatabase support for highly available systemsPrevious Linux platform support experienceBasic knowledge of TLSDemonstrated knowledge of network communications experience, including multicast, gRPC, and websocketsFlexibility to take off-hours support calls as needs dictateAbility to learn quickly; a passion for new technologySelf-motivated to continually expand skillset and improve supported systemsDemonstrated high level of ownership and accountabilityAbility to handle pressure and time constraints with composureStrong organizational skills, including planning, prioritization, and documentationPrior exposure to cryptoasset infrastructure and on-chain applications is a plusThe annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set.

The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
