United States (Hybrid)This hands-on role will drive the transformation of service delivery, fault management, predictive maintenance, and customer experience by building and deploying automated, intelligent solutions in close partnership with Product & Engineering (P&E), CNS Tech, GBC, and domain teams. The DevOps Lead will act as the primary bridge between S&C and P&E, ensuring seamless “hand-in-glove” collaboration while owning the end-to-end automation roadmap for Services & Care. Your responsibilitiesDefine and execute the DevOps and automation strategy for the Services & Care (S&C) organization.
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/GenAI-powered automation solutions to significantly enhance service integration, fault detection, resolution speed, and predictive capabilities. Own the Automation Plan of Record (PoR), Scope of Work (SoW), and innovation funnel for S&C; prioritize and drive the implementation of high-impact initiatives. Act as the single point of contact for Product & Engineering (P&E) on all serviceability, Day-2 operations, and automation-related topics. Partner with Delivery Excellence to define, track, and report meaningful KPIs for automation initiatives.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation use cases; develop playbooks, frameworks, and guidance for domain teams and other organizations. Lead global Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs), trials, and lab-as-a-service utilization, ensuring structured, repeatable, and successful outcomes.
Drive adoption of modern digital platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and AIOps practices across S&C. Your skills and experienceYou have:Over 5 years in senior technology leadership roles, with a focus on automation and digital transformation. More than 5 years of hands-on development and implementation experience in enterprise software or telecommunications.
5+ years of leadership and domain expertise in telecommunications, including core networks, 4G/5G, orchestration, security, analytics, and Day-2 operations. Deep, practitioner-level expertise in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and modern cloud-native architectures. Proven, practical experience applying AI, GenAI, and AIOps to transform service and network operations.
A track record of successfully driving large-scale transformation programs in matrixed, global organizations without direct line authority. Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to translate business and customer needs into technical solutions.
A visionary yet pragmatic mindset—balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution. Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving alignment across diverse, global teams. It would be nice if you also have:Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
