Job Description
The Data and Platform Solutions team is a team of experts that help to deliver better marketing decisions using data and apply expertise in how audience data can help impact a client’s business. Working closely with the media planning and strategy teams, we translate client goals and objectives into actionable data using internal agency or external client technologies such as DMPs and CDPs.
Our team goals are to educate on the uses of data, drive innovation in the data and tech space, partner with analytics to create test plans, generate critical insights and profiles to align with strategic planning, and maximize the value of our client partnerships.
Who: The Director of Data and Platform Solutions is a leader who will contribute to and oversee the audience strategy via audience creation and management of technology platforms that drive better marketing decisions. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual manages processes around targeting data, generates reports to understand key insights, and executes the client’s investments in data and their technology stack.
The successful candidate is a curious problem solver with a knack for telling stories through data.

Director Roles and Objectives:
- Oversee and act as a technical lead over the day-to-day operations in platforms like a DMP, CDP, or DSP.
- Execute audience data to impact media strategies for our client account(s)
- Manage the process of defining audiences to be targeted, sharing data with partners, and tracking and compiling performance reports regarding audience groups.
- Integrate and partner with client research, insights, and analytics teams to make data a cornerstone for more intelligent planning.
- Mine category and brand data that will uncover insights that will drive business results.
- Act as an internal resource to demonstrate agency knowledge of data strategies and communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Support and manage the writing of media deliverables (timelines, POVs, RFPs, presentations, etc.)
- Position agency as a thought leader beyond day-to-day media deliverables that will help to grow a client’s overall data strategy.
- Help answer client questions, create client-ready presentations, and present at client meetings.
- Proactively educate internal and external clients on research, tools, technology, and approaches.
- Lead and nurture your team to achieve the client’s overall media objectives.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Data Science
- 8+ years of experience preferred in digital media, ad technology, ad operations, or analytics.
- Self-starter who is quick to learn and eager to contribute.
- Naturally curious and thrives in environments that require out-of-the-box thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities, duties, and projects with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent leadership ability to help motivate and manage your team to deliver client results and individual growth.

Compensation Range: $106,500 – $179,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 6/3/2024.
