Job Description

Who we are

DoubleVerify is an Israeli-founded big data analytics company (Stock: NYSE: DV). We track and analyze tens of billions of ads every day for the biggest brands in the world.

We operate at a massive scale, handling over 100B events per day and over 1M RPS at peak, we process events in real-time at low latencies (ms) and analyze over 2.5M video years every day. We verify that all ads are fraud free, appear next to appropriate content, appear to people in the right geography and measure the viewability and user’s engagement throughout the ad’s lifecycle.

We are global, with HQ in NYC and R&D centers in Tel Aviv, New York, Finland, Berlin, Belgium and San Diego. We work in a fast-paced environment and have a lot of challenges to solve. If you like to work in a huge scale environment and want to help us build products that have a huge impact on the industry, and the web – then your place is with us.

What will you do

You will lead teams of experienced Data Scientists focused on a mission to develop models that classify dozens of millions of videos, images, audio, and text on a daily basis from social platforms such as Meta, TikTok and YouTube as well as websites and mobile apps.

DoubleVerify’s Brand Safety and Suitability solutions measure and optimize the suitability and contextual fit of brand advertisers’ digital ads to help them protect their brand and advertise next to relevant content.

This is an exceptional challenge – not only due to its scale and the open ended domain – but because it requires finding the hardest edge cases that these platforms did not detect on their own, and since the solution needs to be both cost effective and accurate.

You will be critical to building the roadmap and strategy of content classification at DoubleVerify and have a pivotal role in the collaboration between global teams focused on the same mission with you: Content Policy, Labeling Operations, ML Engineering and Operations, and a few other engineering teams who connect with your systems.

Your role will be to:

  • Lead and mentor teams of AI researchers – enabling their innovation and collaboration.
  • Charge the agile development of models into production at huge scales.
  • Work closely with our ML Engineering team on building the platform that will facilitate the most advanced development, testing and deployment processes out there using an array of systems and services and custom solutions at our disposal.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI – making sure we are putting forward cutting edge techniques that give us competitive edge, operational efficiency and the most accurate models possible.

What do you need to be successful at your role

  • Previous experience in leading Data Science groups.
  • Previous experience with Computer Vision – at least 8 years.
  • Previous experience with NLP and specifically LLMs – big plus.
  • Previous experience with putting big ML systems in production.
  • Superb communication skills and team player – critical.
  • Agile mindset and experience in AI development.
