We have a once-in-a-career opportunity for the person that wants to create the total rewards programs that people are craving. By implementing innovative compensation and benefits strategies, we’ve validated the win-win in engaging, high-impact rewards for both our business and our employees. We’re now looking for a Total Rewards manager/director that is ready to take on this opportunity!
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of Writer’s total rewards strategy. You will bring Writer’s brand and values to life in programs for our employees that achieve company objectives while providing the highest impact-per-dollar possible.
To be successful, you will combine your expertise in end-to-end total rewards management with a deep understanding of our target audience to create the right mix of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to achieve our goals. You should possess excellent project management and communication skills to consistently create and execute pre-, during, and post-cycle plans. This is a highly creative and collaborative role, and you need a strong track record of producing innovative rewards programs while working closely with stakeholders, partners, and industry experts.

🦸🏻♀️ Your responsibilities

Develop and execute a total rewards strategy that supports the company’s business goals and talent needs.

Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into effective rewards programs.

Design and implement competitive compensation structures, including base pay, variable pay, and equity programs.

Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

Oversee the annual compensation review process, including budgeting and merit increases.

Manage the design, implementation, and administration of comprehensive benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to benefits administration.

Negotiate and manage relationships with benefits vendors and providers.

Develop and implement recognition programs that foster a culture of appreciation and engagement.

Oversee the administration of performance-based rewards and incentives.

Develop and deliver communication strategies to educate employees about total rewards programs and their value.

Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure effective communication and engagement around total rewards initiatives.

Feel confident in setting the vision for total rewards strategy, but don’t shy away from getting into the numbers.

Are comfortable with a heavy workload and are willing to be onsite as needed (a big plus if you like to use your downtime to strategize your next innovative rewards program).
