About the Role

As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our

medallion data architecture

(bronze, silver, gold) leveraging BigQuery SQL and Terraform. You will work closely with the internal data analytics team to ensure that datasets are structured, clean, and efficient for use in

Tableau, Looker Studio, and/or Google Sheets

code versioning, data flow documentation, and change management
. We are looking for you to bring a strong perspective on scalable, reusable transformations that we can deploy across the numerous brands we support.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ETL/ELT processes which transform raw JSON data into structured, analytics-ready tables in BigQuery.
  • Develop and maintain automated exception reporting using Great Expectations to proactively identify and surface data anomalies; ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing QA and reconciliation against platform data sources when updates or changes occur.
  • Automate and scale onboarding of new brands into the data pipeline, ensuring seamless integration into existing reporting structures.
  • Standardize and scale transformations, such as using CTE’s and dynamic queries to apply reusable logic across multiple brands.
  • Develop new tables, views, attributes, and metrics as needed, collaborating with the Analytics Team to validate and deploy updates to production.
  • Productionalize advanced analytics models developed by the data team, ensuring they are efficiently integrated into the BI platform.
  • Manage code versioning to track, review, and maintain SQL and ETL pipeline updates.
  • Optimize data flows, ensuring clear documentation of dependencies, transformations, and change management processes; continuously improve data organization as-needed by optimizing queries, metadata management, and overall data structure for scalability.
  • On occasion, you may need to set up, configure, and troubleshoot API data feeds including integrating new data sources or in the event of schema changes.

Why Join Us?

  • Gain hands-on experience in a scalable cloud analytics environment.
  • Work with modern data tools and real-world datasets from top digital platforms.
  • Opportunity to grow skills in advanced SQL solutions, API’s, and AI.
  • This role is ideal for recent graduates or students looking for full-time work.

If you are passionate about data, eager to solve problems, and looking to support a best-in-class data environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Familiarity with BigQuery and cloud-based data environments.
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management.
  • Experience with Terraform (or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools).
  • Experience with Great Expectations (or other data quality frameworks).
  • JSON and API data handling knowledge is a plus
  • Interest in BI tools like Tableau or Looker Studio (bonus if you have hands-on experience).
