As the Director of Analytics and Insights, you will spearhead the analytics function within the commercial operations department, focusing on utilizing data to enhance decision-making processes across the business. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement advanced analytics strategies that drive sales productivity and resources allocation, optimize go to market strategies, and improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives. Effectively measuring the impact of initiatives and allowing for their prioritization across the sales department, as well as coordinating them with the various BUs.
- Team leadership: You will be responsible for assembling and managing a team of exceptional data professionals. Your expertise in hiring, mentoring, and developing talent will be crucial in establishing a cohesive and productive team. The team’s goal is to become a center of knowledge as well as a strategic partner that helps the business to qualify trends and behaviors quickly, providing valuable insights for overall business performance improvement.
- Data Management: Oversee data governance, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across the organization, in close collaboration and coordination with the various global and regional cross-functional teams/ projects and tools.
- Insight Generationand establishment of a data-driven mindset: Lead a team to extract valuable insights from data, providing actionable recommendations to various business units and sales teams. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will promote the use of data to drive insights, actions and inform strategic decision-making. Your ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations will be critical in enabling our company to make informed, data-driven choices. You will also inspire and support teams to develop data models and prediction systems that can generate tangible business impact.
- Advanced Analytics: Employ advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, customer segmentation, and A/B testing, to influence key business outcomes.
- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success of analytics initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with different teams to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into business strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations to senior leadership, offering insights and strategic recommendations.
What we’re looking for?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in data analytics, with a proven track record of leading high-performing analytics teams.
- Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, generative AI and advanced Excel
- Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent time management and demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and time metrics
- Having an in-depth understanding of main Finance parameters with strong commercial and financial acumen
- Customer centric, business acumen
- Excellent presentation skills meeting the needs of all levels within the organization up to and including the Executive management team
- Experience in a B2B industry is highly desirable.
