EMEA Warehouse & Distribution BI Analyst

We are seeking a talented Warehouse and Distribution Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. Main responsibilities of the role include maintenance and further development of existing Analytics suite, conducting complex analysis to improve supply chain operations, identifying areas of improvement and provide defined projects with analytical support. The individual will be working with The EMEA Warehouse and Distribution senior manager’s team in a fast-paced environment. W&D BI Analyst is someone who loves data, understands enterprise information systems and has a strong business acumen.

In this role, a typical day will include:

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to Warehouse and Distribution operations.

– Maintain existing data models and dashboards and create new ones, using Alteryx and Tableau to provide insights into key performance indicators.

– Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the supply chain through data analysis.

– Interact with External (3PL), internal Alcon data owners and other Alcon IT resources, to understand and gather requirements, to design, build and maintain sustainable & accurate solutions.

– Participate in the analysis of trends and common issues to prevent future problems.

– Any other duties or projects as requested by Line Manager commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this role, for which the associate has the necessary experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Education: Higher education, degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.

Languages: Fluency in English (verbal & written).

Experience:

• Experience in a similar role within Supply Chain field.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Advanced Excel skills, SAP Analysis is a plus.

• Expertise in data manipulation & visualization tools – Alteryx & Tableau are the tools in use.

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
