Job Description

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Employee Data Admin to support and enhance our employee data operations within People Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and advising on mass data loads, ensuring data integrity, and partnering closely with the People team to optimize employee data processes. You will play a key role in maintaining clean and compliant data, resolving complex data issues, and helping to drive process improvements across the employee lifecycle.

What You’ll DoPerform mass data loads into Oracle HCM using appropriate tools and templates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and minimal disruption to downstream processes. Consult with People Partners to determine employee data needs and effectively implement mass changes (e. g. , organizational changes, job updates, location shifts).

Act as a subject matter expert on employee data practices and standards within Oracle HCM, providing guidance and recommendations for data-related questions and projects. Conduct data audits, validations, and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies in employee records, ensuring SOX compliance.

Support testing and validation activities during Oracle HCM upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes, ensuring security access, business processes, and mass loads are functioning as expected. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to resolve issuesPartner with internal stakeholders to help drive adoption and maximize the value of OracleCreate, maintain, and support a variety of standard and custom reports, queries, and metrics to provide business insight into human capital data in line with reporting governanceDevelop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and business processes related to data loads and employee data governance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending system or process enhancements.

Basic Qualifications3+ years of progressive experience working with employee data in an HRIS, preferably with Oracle HCM. Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong understanding of HR business processes and employee lifecycle data needs.

Experience with mass data loads, preferably using Oracle HDL (HCM Data Loader) or other Oracle upload tools. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential data. For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$81,000 per year – USD$90,000 per year.
