You’ll lead a small but growing team of engineers, balancing hands-on technical contributions with strategic leadership. This role requires adaptability, resourcefulness, and a passion for building scalable products from the ground up.
What you’ll do Manage and mentor a team of software engineers. Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and rapid iteration. Ensure technical excellence while moving quickly. Participate in troubleshooting by digging into the logs, reading code, and teaming up with developers on the team.
Provide architectural and design oversight. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements. Drive continuous improvement in development processes and tools.
Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment. Work closely with Product, QA, and Operations teams to align priorities.
What we’re looking for Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Ability to energize teams and drive shared ownership of goals Solid understanding of at least one technology within each stack Backend: Java, Python, Go, Node. js Frontend: JavaScript (React), TypeScript Mobile: Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android) or Flutter Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS (Amazon Web Services) Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Comfortable iterating quickly and adapting based on feedback Nice to have Experience with Kanban or Scrum Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Healthcare industry related experience History of working with New Relic, Datadog, Splunk or other logging/monitoring tooling As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:$130,000 – $200,000 USD
