Job Description:Position Summary:The Division Controller is a critical leadership role responsible for guiding divisional strategy, and execution thereof, to deliver operational excellence, operating margin improvements and organic growth. The Division Controller is a strategic business partner to the VP/GM, working collaboratively with the Division Leadership Team (DLT) to meet or exceed business goals and financial commitments in the short and long-term; through business partnering, financial planning and governance. The Division Controller will lead and guide multiple plant controllers and/or business unit controllers, in managing day-to-day financial activities, as well as strengthening financial processes and controls to help reach business goals.

The IT function also reports into the Division Controller. Key Responsibilities:Owns management of design and laboratory engineering resources, including developing KPIs to quantify and track resource capacityRecruits, develops, mentors and promotes talent, ensuring we have a high performing, diverse team, delivering at the needed level to deliver growth to the divisionWorks closely with the Sales Director, Innovations, and Operations Director to provide strategic direction and leadership from a product engineering perspectiveLeads the engineering team in solving customer pain points and providing customer-focused solutions through the application of the CBI FrameworkOwns the tools and systems used to streamline engineering processes including product development/APQPOversees the coordination with all manufacturing locations for consistent implementation and system complianceAids and counsels the Engineering Managers as necessary. Recommends revisions or modifications to development projects to achieve greater compatibility with sales objectives and ensures the product designs meet or exceed customer, manufacturing, and financial requirementsSupports Sales efforts to obtain opportunities, study markets, and maintain good willLeads and serves as a liaison between Ops, Sales, & Eng. to increase speed, quality, reliability and repeatability in our engineering capabilities and processesLeads sales and engineering meetings to support product development at customer locations when necessarySupports customer launch activities as necessaryOther tasks and duties as assignedPosition Skills and Experience Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Science disciplineIn-depth familiarity with stamped, metal products and their applications acquired through at least 3 years of in-house experience3-5 years of experience in sales and/or engineering managementAbility to make data driven decisions independently and deliver resultsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote staffCultivates the 80/20 mind setProven ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team of technical professionals; driven and motivates others to excelAbility to identify and develop future leaders/managers.

Solid financial abilities including working knowledge of budgeting and business developmentBroad knowledge of instrumentation and software technology and designWilling to travel; primarily domestic and occasionally world-wide Other Requirements:Work Location: On-site Mokena, Illinois; incl.
