Job Description

A successful manager in this role will demonstrate excellence in the following areas: Organizational complexity – balance the multidimensional business model the team supports People leadership – strong interpersonal skills and empathy for their team, ability to hire, retain, and coach a high-performance, cross-disciplined team Leading at scale – with 300 million subscribers and counting, the role needs someone experienced in scaled distributed architecture Internal partnership – a strong connection to other product, design and engineering leaders Technical program management – leading large cross-functional teams on complex projects Technical acumen – ability to think critically and design systems keeping in mind the needs of tomorrow Previous leadership experience, minimum of 5 years as a people manager Experience building directly consumer-facing products and engineering systems Experience managing cross-disciplined teams (ie teams comprised of frontend, backend/full stack engineers and SDETs) High EQ (Emotional Quotient) – the ability to direct their own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflict Stakeholder management – balancing the needs of Identity, Games, Ads, House, or Live Product teams against capacity and priority constraints A/B test-driven product development – a background in having built products that iterate based on A/B test hypotheses and results Technical program management – the ability to deliver complex projects across different client platforms and various layers of our technology stack Operational excellence – the ability to build and maintain products through the full product lifecycle, including establishing and sustaining strong reliability and observability Direct experience operating in the Authentication, Identity, Security or Fraud domains
