Job Overview

For this Data Scientist position we are looking for a candidate experienced with data science concepts including machine learning/artificial intelligence techniques. You will perform statistical and financial analyses, manage, and maintain databases to analyze and produce ad hoc reports, airline business cases, and periodic management presentations. You will work on varied analysis projects to support departments throughout the DFW Airport enterprise, working closely with the Sr. Enterprise Analytics Manager, and Vice President of Aviation Strategy and Enterprise Analytics.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and translate them into data science use cases.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and reliability for modeling purposes. Develop data pipelines and workflows as needed.
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics to solve complex business problems, improve product functionality, and enhance user experience.
• Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in information management, data science, business, marketing, aviation management or related field.
• Five (5) years of professional experience in data science, business intelligence, statistical analysis or similar disciplines. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
• Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
• Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.

What We Desire

• Data science or analytical study certifications.
• Familiarity with snowflake architecture.
• Experience with Dataiku AI Platform.
